The Play Network is run by fully qualified. The Play Network provides fun play activities for all children - all abilities across the Bradford District. Our play sessions consist of Messy play, Go-Kart building, Waste not project, Scarecrow activities, Wood work, Birdhouse building, Art and Craft activities as well as other requested play IMG_3843sessions.(Click here for Play sessions)

The Play Network also have a resource library where the public can loan themed boxes and large loan equipment such as the Underwater Sea Adventure and the inflatable Sports field.(Click here to view the library) a small charge is made for the hire of resources, but the good news is membership fees have been scrapped to make the resources more affordable for everyone.

We also run a play scheme and T.E.A.S all year round at The Springfield Centre on Thorpe Edge in Idle for free for children aged 5-13years old. These projects are funded and currently only running on a Wednesday evening 4pm-6pm or during the holidays we run 2-4pm.

T.E.A.S and Play scheme

T.E.A.S (Thorpe Edge Activity sessions) is currently up and running, T.E.A.S is for all children to attend free of charge.  T.E.A.S is based in the Springfield centre, starting at 4pm and ending at 6pm, every Wednesday during term time.  The activities we carry out at the sessions include teaching the children citizenship, taking care of your community, what is in your local community, how you can help within your community, life skills such as cooking, baking, road safety, gardening, and other activities to improve the area within Thorpe edge. As well as incorporating as much fun and play into the sessions as possible.  Play scheme is open to children of all ages at the Springfield centre in Thorpe Edge during the holidays, Play scheme runs 2-4pm every Wednesday in the holidays except play week. for more information contact: Lee on 01274 410 922
