About us

The Play Network is run by fully qualified Play and Youth Workers. The Play Network provides fun play activities for all children – all abilities across the Bradford District. Our play sessions consist of Messy play, Go-Kart building, Junk art project, Scarecrow activities, Wood work, Birdhouse building, Art and Craft activities as well as other requested play sessions.(Click here for Play sessions)

The Play Network also have a resource library where organisations working with children can loan themed boxes and large loan equipment such as the Underwater Sea Adventure and the inflatable Sports field.(Click here to view the library) a small charge is made for the delivery of resources.



T.E.A.S (Thorpe Edge Activity sessions) is currently up and running, T.E.A.S is for all children age 5-13yrs to attend free of charge.  T.E.A.S is based in the Springfield centre, starting at 4.30pm and ending at 6.30pm, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday during term time.  The activities we carry out at the sessions include teaching the children citizenship, taking care of your community, what is in your local community, how you can help within your community, life skills such as cooking, baking, road safety, gardening, and other activities to improve the area within Thorpe edge.
